Centage Spotlights / Finance reports built around your business

Pick a Spotlight. Or describe your own.

Centage Spotlights are custom finance reports we tailor to how your business actually runs. Twenty-one examples below, built across five industries. Start with one, change it, or describe exactly how you want to see your numbers. We build it against your live Centage model, with evidence attached to every line and the governance, security, and scalability of the Centage operating system underneath.

How we close the gap

Describe. Scope. Build. Live.

The report that would actually land in your board meeting is usually not on any FP&A menu. Our team studies your business, models your numbers, and builds the Spotlight that answers the specific question you have.

Step 01

Describe

You tell us the question. Natural language, back of a napkin, screenshot of what you ran in Excel last quarter. No specification document required.

Step 02

Scope

Ex-CFOs on our team map the metric to your entities, policies, systems of record. We agree on the data sources, the cadence, the audience, and the audit trail before we build.

Step 03

Build

Engineers build the Spotlight against your live model. Reconciled to the cent. Evidence attached to every line. Policy and approval chains wired in from day one.

Step 04

Live

First Spotlight goes live in about six weeks. Change it, extend it, add more. You own the Spotlight, the context, and the agents we built it on. We stay alongside your team.

The platform underneath

Custom reports, on an operating system built for finance.

A custom report only holds up when the platform underneath governs access, protects data, and scales with your business. Every Spotlight runs against the same reconciled Centage model, with the same controls applied.

01

Governance

Role-based access, approval routing, and audit logging designed to cover every read and write. Spotlights route to the approver your policy names, and each number traces back to the source entry and the policy that applied.

02

Security

Centage maintains SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II reports and encrypts your data in transit and at rest. Your data stays in your systems, and Centage reads only what the Spotlight needs. We don't train on your content or use it for anything else.

03

Scalability

One reconciled model across every entity, fund, location, product line, and cohort you run. Add Spotlights, users, and systems of record on top of the same model. Because your business context is already in place, the second Spotlight takes less time to build than the first.

Common questions

What finance leaders ask first.

How is a Spotlight different from a dashboard?
A dashboard shows a view of the data. A Spotlight is a custom report we build around how your business works. It reads from your live model, explains what moved and why, attaches the evidence, and can route action for human approval.
Can we start with one of the examples and change it?
Yes. The twenty-one examples above are starting points. We fork any one of them, modify it to your entity structure, your chart of accounts, your approval policies, and your preferred cadence. You can also describe a Spotlight that is nothing like the examples. We build whatever answers your question.
How long until our first Spotlight is live?
Six weeks from kickoff is typical. Week one is business context and connections. Week two to four is the first Spotlight and its evals. Week five is governance review. Week six is handover. Additional Spotlights after the first run shorter, because the context layer is already in place.
Which systems do you connect to?
ERPs (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle Fusion, Microsoft D365, QuickBooks), CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), billing (Stripe, Zuora, Chargebee), warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks), BI (Looker, Power BI), and delivery surfaces (Slack, Teams, Excel, Google Sheets, email, PDF).
Can Spotlights write back to our ERP or billing system?
Yes, through a human approval. Centage drafts the entry, shows the evidence it was built from, routes it to the right approver per your policy, and writes to the system of record only after a human signs. Read-only is the default on every system of record.
How is my data handled?
Your data stays in your systems. Centage reads only what the Spotlight needs. We don't train on your content, use it for anything else, or pool it across customers. Centage maintains SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II reports, with audit logging designed to cover reads and writes.
What does a Spotlight cost?
Starts at $699 a month, tailored to your business. Our team scopes against your entity count, chart-of-accounts depth, and the Spotlights you need. The number is set during a scoping call so fit, scope, and price come together.
